Born in Detroit, and raised in sunny Bakersfield, California, I've been fortunate to live in several incredible cities around the nation. I attended culinary school and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Upon graduation, I worked for The Food Network as a Food Stylist in New York City. After living several years in New York, I moved to Alexandria and later Gainesville, Virginia, where my husband and I raised our son until we moved to Michigan.
Our son attended Saugatuck High School and currently attends the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
In my spare time, I love sharing my passion for cooking on my Big Green Egg by teaching classes and entertaining friends and family. I also love to hike the trails and visit the local wineries and restaurants that the Saugatuck and Douglas areas have to offer.
