Harbor Springs began over a century ago as a well-known resort community, and today continues to be one of the most beautiful and most visited resort towns in the country. Harbor Springs is conveniently located in Michigan's northern Lower Peninsula, just minutes from the towns of Petoskey, Charlevoix and the Victorian resort island of Mackinaw Island.

Since the turn of the last century, visitors from all over the globe have come to our beautiful area throughout every season.  Southerners head our way in the summer months to escape the heat and midwesterners throughout the Great Lakes visit each winter for skiing, snowshoeing and other fun snowsport activities.  The area surrounding Little Traverse Bay is known for four season hospitality, family friendly dining, and unique, uncomparable shopping.
